Stacey Barton is amazing and was so incredible to work with! She is kind, genuine and extremely knowledgeable, but most importantly, we were treated as if we were family. As first- time home buyers, we had a pleasant and easy experience. From the first step to the last, Stacey was right there for us and went above and beyond in her hard work and diligence to make sure we found the perfect home for our family. We are SO grateful and blessed to have had the chance to work with Stacey and without whom, we may not have found our beautiful home.

We are first time home buyers and the process felt daunting!! Stacey made us feel safe, showed us multiple properties (most on very short notice!), was available for any/all questions truly day OR night, and stuck with us through the unpredictability and hiccups of a VA loan. Closing was such a special experience and my husband and I walked away feeling like God had such a hand in all of it. Stacey’s knowledge of buying a home, navigating the twists of a new build, VA loans, and her quick smile no matter the situation was such a gift!!! We couldn’t have asked for a better realtor!! She went above and beyond for us!!

My husband and I are first time home buyers and to us it was nerve racking and a little scary but, Stacey made the process enjoyable and exciting. She is attentive, supportive, caring, and she was such a huge help to us. She has excellent business skills, very knowledgable of the real estate market, and she answered all our questions in such a timely manner. I recommend Stacey not only because of her outstanding knowledge about the real estate market but because she truly cares, she is such a nice and pleasant person to work with and she really was a blessing to us.

Stacey Barton went far and above her role as Real Estate Broker!! Our sale had a lot of components and complicated details, but Stacey went right to it and accomplished the task! We recently moved from overseas back to the US and this was our first home we ever owned! We've been married 11 years and rented/moved around most of that time, so this was a very special as well as daunting venture for us! Stacey was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. First of all, she clearly explained each step of the process which alleviated much of our fear and trepidation. We appreciated her complete and total honesty with us - no matter how it affected our ultimate choice. Stacey listened really well to what was important to us in a home, and showed us good range of houses within those boundaries. She did not push us to spend outside of our budget, and in fact fully supported our desire to find a home well below our max budget. We appreciated so much that she obviously wanted her client's happiness and contentment with the home and financial position they found themselves in post-purchase rather than just selling us the biggest and most expensive house we could afford. Stacey handled the details and complications that arose with such finesse and ease - we honestly probably have no idea the issues she "fielded" for us! The entire process was very smooth and the little hiccups along the way felt exactly so - little. They may in actuality have been larger and more difficult to resolve, but Stacey did not overwhelm us with anything we did not need to deal with. She kept us informed each step of the way, and constantly checked in to make sure we understood. At times we just deferred to her wisdom and expertise, and she was completely trustworthy and very conscientious with that. Stacey was a lot of fun to work with! We did a lot of laughing - which tremendously helped lighten this big and often overwhelming decision. She shared stories of past experience both professionally and personally that gave us helpful info to compare/contrast with. She was very prompt in her responses - the house we actually bought was one we saw very last minute. Within an hour or so from contacting her (late in the day) she was meeting us at the house to view it. She was very thoughtful to recommend things to us we didn't know to ask for - such as offering repeatedly to meet us at the house to walk through it a couple times just to be sure we wanted to move forward. At one point I personally had second thoughts about a couple things regarding the house, and when I texted Stacey she immediately called and took the time to talk it all through with me. She truly cared about us - not just selling a house to us. That meant the world! Stacey achieved a wonderful balance in the negotiating process. She was willing to "go to bat" and ask for repairs to be made and things to be done/changed, but also advised us wisely when she felt we needed to either let something go or back down. We were very happy with the final outcome! Overall - we would HIGHLY recommend Stacey Barton as a realtor. She clearly knew the area, the entire process and how to navigate it well and smoothly, as well as was incredibly courteous, kind and went above and beyond to serve our family along the way! Thank you Stacey for being a piece of our story as we begin our life here in Vermont...!

My wife and I recently moved to Vermont and enlisted Stacey's services to purchase a home in Addison County. Stacey was outstanding from start to finish. She provided focused listings to help us locate the perfect property. Communication from long distance was excellent, helping us work through the process and understanding the finer points of Vermont real estate transactions. She helped us negotiate very reasonable terms on the purchase, and provided essential recommendations and suggestions throughout the process. Stacey was wonderful to work with and I would most definitely choose her again if I were to purchase again. However, I don't see that happening since she helped us find the perfect place to call home!

Stacey was amazing. She came to look over our house and made a few suggestions to stage our house for selling. It was easy, just remove few pieces of furniture and paint a room. She came back a few days later to take pictures and we decided to price the house $10,000 higher than we originally thought. She was right on and the house sold in 4 days! She knows her stuff. Trust her. We have recommended her to others already.
